This morning at exactly 12:00AM, I was FINALLY able to make our Fastpass+ reservations. Next to making dining reservations, getting our Magic Bands in the mail, and actually arriving at Walt Disney World, making Fastness selections is one of the most fun things to do in this process. In my next blog I'll discuss my selections. Today I want to take you back to one of the most magical experiences we've ever had at Magic Kingdom.
I made before the park opens breakfast reservations at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. I was dying to get in that park before the crowds to get my picture taking on. And boy did I. The only sour part was that they were in the process of painting the turrets, so the stupid crane is in all my castle shots. GRRRR!!

We finished breakfast just as the park was opening to the other guests. We immediately went to the Jungle Cruise and had no wait, which was a delight. Then, since we were so close, we decided to ride Aladdin's Magic Carpets again because why not. BEST decision of the trip, and I have to give my husband credit because it was his suggestion.
Then THIS happened . . .
Then THIS happened . . .
How did it happen?
Well first of all I chalk it up to dumb luck and Disney magic. Secondly, We were there within the first 30 minutes of the ride opening. Thirdly, we are a family of three, which meant there was room on our carpet for him to sit. Jasmine rode the carpet behind us with another family of three. THAT mother got out, took pictures and let her child sit next to Jasmine. I disregarded her parenting style entirely, obviously.
Literally one of the best experiences as a parent at Disney, a close second is the meet and greet with Belle during our first visit, but that will be a story for another day. This is the type of experience that keeps us coming back. You can't plan for it or pay for it. It is indeed one of the many cogs in the wheel of Disney's greatness.
How can we top this on our next trip??
To my husband's great displeasure, I want to be the family that opens Magic Kingdom. He says it won't happen. I say I'm going to kill us trying. LOL!!
