So, I'll keep this short and sweet. I'll start with the BEST part of our trip in this post, and in those that follow, I'll discuss other events and activities.
The absolute BEST thing we did was the Early Morning Magic.
We arrived around 7:30 at Magic Kingdom. I won't lie, I thought they'd check our names and let us right in. Not how it worked. We had to wait in a line to be checked, Then they put us in another line to wait to get in. It was already 7:45 and that is when our time was to start. I was getting quite annoyed, because time was literally money and they were NOT letting us get to Fantasyland. The kinks for this pay event clearly hadn't been worked out.
We were let in a short time later, and grabbed a quick Memory Maker photo in front of the castle, then booked it to Peter Pan. We rode that once and heard the most magical question, "Would you like to stay on and go around again?" OMG! We actually declined because the Mine Train was our priority.
We booked it to the dwarfs and rode that sucker 6 times back to back, without waiting and a couple times ALL BY OURSELVES!!!
After the twice arounds on those two, it was getting close to time for the park to open, so we ran back to Mine Train and rode it 2 more times. They allowed other park visitors in at 8:50 which annoyed me. I felt like we somewhat got cheated out of some of our magic time at the beginning and the end. BUT, overall, it was totally worth it and if it is still going on during our next trip, it will be a must-do.
At 9:00, made our way to our exclusive breakfast at Pinocchio Village Haus. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, juice, coffee, bottled water, breads, fruits, etc. Best of all, only Extra Morning Magic folks were allowed in, so it was a quiet, virtually empty dining experience. LOVELY, especially after a week in the crowds.
